Business should be about more than what happens inside the workplace

Alchemy Global is proud to announce its sponsorship of Plymouth Albion RFC, marking another step in the company’s commitment to supporting local communities and investing in safer workplaces across the South West.

The sponsorship follows the recent integration of EP Compliance into Alchemy Global, creating an expanded training division that delivers accredited First Aid, Mental Health First Aid and Health & Safety qualifications to businesses and organisations throughout the region.

The partnership is particularly meaningful for the training team. Alchemy Global’s Head of Training, Paul Stentiford, volunteers as an RFU pitch-side first aider and has spent many years supporting grassroots and representative rugby, while his son currently represents Devon.

The newly unveiled pitch-side advertising board at Brickfields reflects more than a commercial partnership; it represents a shared belief that strong communities are built through preparation, teamwork and looking after one another.

Stuart Nash, Managing Director of Alchemy Global, said:

“Our business has always been about protecting people. Whether that’s supporting multinational organisations operating around the world or providing life-saving first aid training here in our local community, the principle is exactly the same.

“Plymouth Albion is a club with deep roots, strong values and an important role within the community. Following the integration of EP Compliance, expanding our training capability and supporting local organisations felt like a natural fit. We’re delighted to become part of the Albion community and look forward to developing the partnership in the years ahead.”

Paul Stentiford, Head of Training at Alchemy Global, said:

“Rugby has been a huge part of my life, both through volunteering as a pitch-side first aider and watching my son progress to represent Devon. I’ve seen first-hand how important good medical provision, preparation and training are at every level of the game.

“It’s fantastic to combine those passions by helping grow our training centre while supporting a club that means so much to the local rugby community. We hope our partnership helps reinforce the importance of first aid, wellbeing and safety, both on and off the field.”

As part of its expanded training provision, Alchemy Global now delivers a growing portfolio of nationally recognised workplace training, including:

  • Emergency First Aid at Work
  • First Aid at Work
  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Fire Safety
  • Health & Safety
  • Safeguarding
  • Manual Handling

The training centre is also an RFU First Aid Training Provider and RFU Safeguarding Training Provider.

Alongside its training provision, Alchemy Global continues to provide specialist security, resilience and risk consultancy services to organisations operating throughout the UK and internationally.

James Greenacre, Commercial Director at Plymouth Albion, said:

“We’re really pleased to welcome Alchemy Global as a sponsor of Plymouth Albion. Following their integration of EP Compliance, we have a great opportunity to build on an existing relationship while supporting the continued growth of their training provision.

“Paul already has a strong connection with rugby and understands the importance of safety, preparation and looking after people within the game. Those values translate perfectly into the work Alchemy Global delivers for businesses and organisations across the region.

“We’re grateful to Stuart, Paul and the wider Alchemy Global team for their support and look forward to developing the relationship throughout the 2026/27 season and beyond.”

Supporters will see Alchemy Global’s new ground board at Brickfields throughout the 2026/27 campaign as the company begins the next chapter of its partnership with Plymouth Albion.
